The Engineering, Parks and Environment department requires a Regular Full Time Work Flow Coordinator.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for performing technical and administrative work coordinating and analyzing engineering operations processes to ensure quality assurance of work flow.  You will also; coordinate, create and process documents for work flow for crews; provide updates on status of work services and various projects; advise on matters pertaining to information flow and applications; prepare and oversee the preparation and processing of work orders; liaise with departments to ensure functionality for various applications; coordinate the development of consolidated reports and provide a variety of reports and data.  You may supervise and review the work of a group of clerical subordinates carrying out related work.
 
The successful applicant will have considerable knowledge of operational engineering functions and public works procedures supplemented with courses in engineering, public works, data analysis or economics or an equivalent combination of training and experience.  The ability to read and interpret engineering plans and drawings is a requirement together with strong software experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel. Infor Public Sector and PeopleSoft experience would be assets.  The ability to deal effectively and courteously with a range of internal departments and staff is essential.

Salary:
$33.25 - $39.14 per hour
(Pay Grade 18 – January 2024 rates) (Provisional)
 
Hours of Work:
This position currently works a compressed work schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 4:05 p.m., Monday to Friday (40 hour work week), with one scheduled day off (Monday or Friday) approximately each three-week scheduling cycle. This position has a ½ hour unpaid meal break
