Overview:

Big White Ski Resort, or simply Big White, is a mountain resort located 56 km southeast of Kelowna in the Southern Interior of British Columbia. As part of the Big White Housekeeping team, you are responsible for the daily coordination of rooms to be cleaned by the housekeeping team. You will be inspecting rooms and common areas to make sure they meet the core standard of cleaning. This position requires strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Inspect and maintain guest units while keeping up with core standards
  • Supervise housekeeping staff and laundry staff while they are performing their duties
  • Conduct daily morning meetings with housekeeping staff and daily organization of staff
  • Help with training of all housekeeping and laundry staff
  • Stocking and organizing storage rooms
  • Understand how everything operates in guest room (fireplace, windows, etc.)
  • Fulfilling tasks in a time sensitive manner
  • Follow all Health & Safety protocols and procedures
  • Assist guests with all questions and requests
  • All other duties as required

Details:

  • Fulltime, working up to 40 hrs. a week
  • Hourly wage $22.00
  • Staff accommodation onsite, for approved applicants
  • Late Oct 2024 - April, 2025
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
