Overview:

Big White Ski Resort, or simply Big White, is a mountain resort located 56 km southeast of Kelowna in the Southern Interior of British Columbia. As part of theBig WhiteHousekeeping team, you are responsible for receiving orders and issuing supplies and equipment for the day to day housekeeping operations. You will be answering emails and phone calls as well as supervising the houseman and coordaining their daily responsibilities including; driving staff to and from accommodation properties, delivering clean and dirty linens and housekeeping stock . This position requires strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Receive and forward all goods and deliveries in and out to the correct point of contact/storage area.
  • Verify all goods delivered as per the agreed purchase
  • Monitor and take inventory on regular basis to compile orders based on par levels or needs.
  • Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy
  • Notify the housekeeping manager of any low stock levels.
  • Identify and report any slow-moving items to avoid over purchasing.
  • Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs.
  • Answer and receive email and phone calls
  • Supervise and organize the support attendants, insuring they are performing their duties
  • Fulfilling tasks in a time sensitive manner
  • Follow all Health & Safety protocols and procedures
  • Assist guests with all questions and requests
  • All other duties as required

Details:

  • Fulltime, working up to 40 hrs. a week
  • Hourly wage $22.00
  • Staff accommodation onsite, for approved applicants
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
