Position overview

As a Product Manager for Servers at Canada Computers, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the strategic vision for our server products. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch optimization. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure our server products meet market needs and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy:

  • Develop and articulate a clear product strategy for the server product line, aligning with the overall company objectives.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to identify market trends and opportunities.

2. Product Development:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define and prioritize features, ensuring timely and high-quality product releases.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and innovative server solutions.

3. Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including product positioning, pricing, and promotion strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling product messaging and sales collateral.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with customer support to address product-related issues and ensure a positive customer experience.

5. Performance Analysis:

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze product performance against these metrics.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making processes to optimize product features and user experience.

6. Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life, ensuring product sustainability and relevance in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (X years) in product management, preferably with a focus on server products or related technologies.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of server architecture, hardware, and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strategic thinking with a customer-centric approach.
