In collaboration with Chard Development, an award-winning urban real estate development firm based in Vancouver, Taylor Ryan Executive Search Partners are looking to hire a Senior Development Manager to join their team. They specialize in crafting condominium, rental, and commercial projects that elevate the vibrancy of Metro Vancouver and Greater Victoria. With approximately 15 projects in various stages, they are constantly pushing boundaries and exceeding expectations. Their collaborative environment thrives on dedication, accountability, and a shared passion for building exceptional living spaces.As Senior Development Manager, you'll be the driving force behind project success, overseeing schedules, budgets, and key deliverables. You'll wear many hats, from crafting and executing project plans to securing approvals and managing budgets. Your strong communication skills will be key in liaising with municipalities, politicians, and the community, ensuring project support at every stage. You'll also oversee consultants, contractors, and trades, ensuring seamless project delivery. Furthermore, you'll prepare and analyze financial proformas to achieve profitability and manage all project-related documentation.Ideally, you are a seasoned professional with a minimum of 7 years of development experience, preferably in multi-family residential rentals and mixed-use developments who has completed at least one project from start to finish. Experience in hotels is a bonus. Beyond that, you bring exceptional leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills to navigate the complexities of development.
