Ever wanted to get hands-on experience with innovative talent technology tools used by a global company? This is your chance As a Co-op student on our Global Talent Technology (GTT) team, you'll be at the forefront of supporting multiple geographically dispersed client groups. Working alongside an agile team, you'll gain valuable experience in operational support, configuration, deployment, automation and more, impacting the entire employee lifecycle. Our ideal candidate has a high level of attention to detail and can use their data analysis skills to identify areas for process optimization. Your technical background will be instrumental in understanding and supporting our various talent technology tools.

Depending on the needs and location of the team, you will need to work PDT or MDT or relocate to a specific office (site-based). You must also currently be a student enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution and will be enrolled throughout the duration of the co-op term (you will also be returning back to the post-secondary institution once the co-op term is completed). Proof of a valid work permit will also be required, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures

  • Triaging and resolving incoming support tickets and requests regarding application errors, and resolving critical issues across the supported application stack in a timely manner

  • Conducting regular data cleansing, data modelling, and data analysis with Python, Excel and Power BI

  • Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) product evaluation, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and support

  • Finding innovative ways to automate repetitive and manual tasks using scripts in addition to the development of lean self-serve web applications using Power Automate

  • Preparing data for monthly and quarterly dashboards, and crafting Power BI dashboards

Qualifications
  • Demonstrable understanding of how to use RESTful APIs, including different authorization frameworks (e.g. OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, SCIM)

  • Proficiency in Python with knowledge and understanding of data packages like pandas and JSON

  • Experience in front-line customer service and/or technical support

  • Ability to clearly articulate sophisticated technological concepts to non technical collaborators

  • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and their benefits

  • Driven and efficient with a passion for learning new technologies and able to work well both independently and with others

  • Experience with Power Platform applications such as Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate is a plus

Wage Range: $3,900 - $4,900 / Month

Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed.
