Job Description SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing, planning and executing marketing strategy associated with new solutions commercialization. The role leads integrated marketing campaigns that align with Grid Automation's strategic vision and drive demand for the company's products and services. This role will require working with the product line and sales leaders to support commercial targets, enhancing customer experience, satisfaction, and building brand recognition. Leading and designing the business's presence at industrial events is also an integral part of the role.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop product positioning and messaging for the various buyer personas that differentiates Grid Automation solutions offerings from that of the competition
  • Create playbooks and other sales enablement material to help commercial team and channel partners execute growth plans (e.g defining what solutions to target in what parts of the market, what talking points, which use cases to highlight, etc.)
  • Develop and manage database of collateral, and oversee all external facing material (e.g white papers, event presentations, etc) to ensure it's directionally aligned to market strategy
  • Define and run market outreach campaigns as needed for strategic growth areas
  • Work with commercial team (inside sales, sales, channel partners) to ensure outputs / leads from marketing campaigns, tradeshows, etc are handed off appropriately
  • Build and manage an NPI calendar, deliverables and deadlines following a commercialization process
  • Create and execute strategic & tactical marketing programs that engage, educate, and retain customers, drive demand, and support revenue and business goals with a focus on new product introductions.
  • Identify and detail appropriate marketing channels/tactics that drive sales and generate brand awareness
  • Effectively communicate plans and metrics regularly to marketing, product management and sales leadership
  • Execute and support a broad range of activities, including events, webinars, content syndication, online advertising, email campaigns, etc.
  • Manage our market presence at industry events, trade shows, etc, in conjunction with the other business lines
  • Work with design and web development teams to ensure that marketing programs are accurately reflected on our website, and that all required product collateral, including our ecommerce platform, are fully in place

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, or business, or equivalent B2B work experience
  • 15+ years of B2B experience with a deep understanding of B2B marketing best practices
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering multiple successful commercialization programs
  • Experience in events management from concept to design to execution, including project management and messaging
  • Focus on understanding customer problems and translating them into value propositions
  • Experience working with product management, technology, supply chain and technical support teams around the world
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • You have existing knowledge or experience with grid automation solutions
