This position is part of a global team that ensures our business partners have complete and accurate data models and easy-to-use visualizations to make critical business decisions. This position is part of the Global IT Team servicing SCIEX, Molecular Devices, and the Life Sciences Platform.

This role is Hybrid at our location in Concord, Ontario.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Craft data models and produce Power BI reports using Microsoft's suite of data analytics tools
  • Foster collaborative relationships with business counterparts to gain insights into their workflows and deliver tailored data analytics solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive user training to empower individuals to leverage our array of data models for report development.
  • Lead documentation efforts and implement version control and catalog management.
  • Explore the forefront of analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies to enrich our decision-making processes

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 5 + years of experience developing business analytics solutions. 3 + years of hands-on experience with Power BI and MS SQL.
  • Degree or diploma in Technology or Business or similar discipline.
  • Must have ability to gather requirement details, identify gaps to help improve accuracy and reporting of key performance indicators (KPI's).
  • This role requires high degree of customer service with exceptional communications, time management and agility to work in a global corporate environment.
  • Knowledge and Experience on Python, PowerShell, or other scripting skills

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Oracle EBS, Salesforces.com
