Manager, Digital Operations Performance

The Manager, Digital Operations Performance, is a crucial role dedicated to leveraging data analytics to enhance operational efficiency, optimize digital systems usage, and improve overall hotel digital operations performance. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies. The Manager will be responsible for creating and managing operational report cards, identifying anomalies, and developing strategies to address inefficiencies.

What You'll Be Doing:

Training and Support Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between hotel operations and the analytics team, ensuring alignment and communication of data-driven strategies.
  • Provide training and support to hotel staff on data analytics tools and platforms.
  • Develop training materials and conduct sessions to enhance staff proficiency in using analytics for operational improvement.
  • Address recurring data-related issues by implementing long-term solutions to ensure sustained functionality and optimization of digital systems.


Reporting and Documentation Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive report card system to track and analyze key performance metrics across hotel operations.
  • Regularly review and update KPIs and goal metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize performance.
  • Analyze trends in operational data to inform strategic decision-making and refine operational strategies.


Project Management and Delivery Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple analytics projects concurrently, ensuring efficient coordination and prioritization of activities.
  • Implement project management methodologies to optimize resource allocation and mitigate potential conflicts.
  • Identify bottlenecks in project plans, proactively communicating risks and delays to stakeholders.
  • Develop contingency plans and collaborate with team members to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
  • Provide insights to support the successful execution of project deliverables and ensure alignment with business objectives.


What You Bring:
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in data analytics and/or performance management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with hospitality management systems, digital platforms, and operational software applications.
  • Proven track record of identifying and implementing data-driven improvements in operational processes.

Technical Skills:
  • Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Salesforce Reporting or Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
  • Familiarity with Guest Technology Systems and Vendors: Experience working with guest-facing technology systems and vendors, understanding guest experience enhancements and integrations within a hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of Hospitality Industry Applications: Possesses intermediate-level knowledge of specific hospitality applications such as HotSOS, REX, MICROS, OpenTable, IRIS, Messaging, and other relevant platforms, enabling effective utilization and support for operational needs.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and visualization, with the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and charts to support decision-making and operational insights.
  • Understanding of Digital Marketing Tools: Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms used in the hospitality industry, such as customer relationship management (CRM) systems, email marketing platforms, and online booking engines.
  • Knowledge of Mobile Applications and Technology Trends: Stay updated on mobile applications and emerging technology trends in the hospitality sector, leveraging insights to enhance guest experiences and optimize operational efficiencies.
  • Basic Understanding of Networking and IT Infrastructure: Knowledge of networking principles and IT infrastructure within a hospitality setting, facilitating effective collaboration with IT teams and vendors to support digital initiatives.
  • Strong Data Management and Reporting Skills: Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to generate actionable insights and reports that support operational decision-making and performance optimization.


This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
