Job Description
We are looking to hire a skilled and experienced Millwright in Burlington, Ontario, to complete work orders and conduct general preventative maintenance on all machines, identifying and troubleshooting machine irregularities and breakdowns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical assembly equipment and systems.
We operate on rotating continental shifts, you will be required to work the continental shift rotation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Installing, assembling, and aligning mechanical equipment and systems according to blueprints and specifications
- Working with other maintenance and operations staff to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize work orders; performing testing routines on a scheduled basis.
- Maintaining the inventory of mechanical supplies and equipment, and making the necessary requisitions
- Reporting any abnormal conditions of materials, products or equipment to the supervisor; lubricating and making adjustments to tools and equipment used
- Performing preventative maintenance on required equipment and scheduled work, as required
- Dismantling, examining, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment such as motors, gearboxes, drives, pulleys, hydraulic components, air filtration systems,
- Adhering to safety protocols, regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Industrial Millwright (433A) Ontario Provincial license is required
- Minimum three years experience as a Millwright or similar job
- Thorough understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment; proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics; and in-depth knowledge of troubleshooting methods
- Good interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and exceptional mathematical ability
- Must be comfortable working well in a team environment
- High school Diploma or equivalent qualification.
