What you’ll do
  • Support agile innovative infrastructure solutions/Infrastructure management solutions that take advantage of cloud technology to allow cost optimization, standardization
  • Manage the OS, Load balancers, Web server related issues and configuration
  • Manage the repave or patching activity seamlessly with help of IaC automation
  • Collaborate with team to build and manage Cloud IaC (Infrastructure as Code) standards and implementation.
  • Work closely with geographically distributed teams on technical challenges and process improvements
  • On-call support
  • Take control of the deliverables and lead the entire team
What you bring to the role
  • Proficient in AWS or GCP Cloud
  • Strong Windows Administration and tuning
  • Hands-on experience with Performance Tuning, OS Patching, IIS Webserver support, Active Directory Management, Users and Group Management, DNS/NS Management, and SSL Certificate Management
  • Knowledge of protocols such as DNS, LDAP, SMTP.
  • Expert in PowerShell, and/or Python scripting
  • Knowledge in Globalscape or similar FTP tools
  • Nice to have knowledge in Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub etc.
  • Knowledge in observability tools such as Elastic
Working arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Halifax, NS. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.
