Responsibilities
Establish and revise the plant's production schedule
Plan the plant's volume in the short and long term
Support the logistics team throughout the logistics process
Perform the monthly physical count of raw materials, work in progress, and finished products
Reconcile the monthly inventory management
Assist the management team with various administrative tasks based on the job holder's knowledge and skills
Ensure effective communication with the production and quality departments
Order raw materials for the department
Interact with the sales and supply chain departments to prioritize or rectify orders
Maintain good communication with other plants to assist each other as needed
Manage reports with the main production KPIs
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
Solid database experience, comfortable with various systems and/or software
Strong team-working skills
Bilingual in French and English. English is necessary because this position also reports to the company's Supply Chain Director (located in the United States). Daily communication with colleagues from other plants in North America is required. The official and common language remains French.
Strong multitasking and detail-oriented management skills
Excellent stress management
Ability to adapt to changes
Good organizational skills
Results-oriented
Knowledge of the SAP system (an asset)
Experience in a unionized environment (an asset)
