Water Technician 3 or 4

The District of Summerland is accepting applications for a full-time Water Technician 3 or 4 position. The work involves assisting in the operation, maintenance, and administration of the District’s water systems, watersheds, treatment facilities, and associated appurtenances.

Required Qualifications

EOCP certification in Water Treatment at EOCP Level 3 or 4.Completion of an accredited post-secondary program in Water/Wastewater Technology (or equivalent), plus related municipal experience and training in water treatment is preferred.A valid B.C. Driver’s Licence – Class 5.

The pay will reflect the level of EOCP certification as per the CUPE Agreement: Level 3 - $37.24, Level 4 - $42.00.
