ABOUT THE ROLE
The Regional District of Nanaimo is seeking a permanent full-time Aquatic Maintenance Worker based at the Ravensong Aquatic Centre in Qualicum Beach. This position contributes to the effective operation of the Recreation Department through the maintenance, cleaning and preparation of the Ravensong Aquatic Centre (RAC).
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications include a high school diploma, Pool Operators Level 1 Certificate, Building Maintenance Course plus one (1) to three (3) years of prior job-related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
 
POSITION DETAILS
This is a permanent full-time (40 hours per week) Union position. The (2024) rate of pay for the position is $31.26 to $32.90 per hour.  The position offers an attractive benefits package as provided within the collective agreement between the Regional District of Nanaimo and the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 401
