Supply Chain Planner (102272)

Working Model: Hybrid

Location: Regina, SK

Where the Chemistry Happens…

Reporting to the Planning Manager, we are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to work at our Regina office. In this position you will be responsible for finite planning and purchasing of raw materials for the BASF Regina Site and 3rd party tollers within Canada. This would include establishing safety stocks and managing inventory movements from warehouses to and from the toller. Inventory management is the other key area with tollers and 3rd party warehouses within the AP business.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Be responsible for the finite planning of finished goods at 3rd Party Tollers within Canada.
  • Plan purchase order requirements and monitor raw material and stocks for the 3rd party tollers within AP Canada to ensure timely delivery supporting production schedules.
  • Be responsible for the coordination of raw material requirements and supply for production including establishing safety stocks, delivery schedule and managing inventories, including expiration dates.
  • Manage dysfunctional raw material inventory.
  • In collaboration with the Tolling team, identify and communicate to the Supply Operations team all demand and supply imbalances and coordinate all requests for production schedule changes.
  • Serve as a liaison between Tolling, Logistics and Planning.
  • Lead and assign non-conformance (NCM) issues related to 3rd party tolling sites.
  • Work with Procurement to ensure accurate pricing and Outline Agreements.
Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field or equivalent experience would be considered an asset.
  • SCMP certification or enrollment is an asset.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in supply chain or manufacturing.
  • Must have working knowledge of production scheduling, planning and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and team-working skills.
  • Ability to work within a faced-paced team environment.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, lead and implement change.
  • Proficient in SAP and MS office.
