Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator - Software Developer to join our growing organization. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role will primarily be responsible for coordinating software development projects as well as designing, creating, implementing, and maintaining software solutions, applications, and other IT systems. This position involves 40% project coordination and 60% software development. This role will be based at our headquarters in Brossard, Quebec. This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Coordinate end-to-end software development projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with development, quality assurance, design, and operations teams to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality features and applications for the platform.
  • Test, debug, and maintain existing software.
  • Perform low-level technical analysis and contribute to the writing of documentation and technical specifications.
  • Deploy builds and other DevOps tasks, including managing QA environments.
  • Ensure smooth communication between teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage project risks and resolve issues as they arise.

Education, Accreditations, Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development with strong project management expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Web API 2, HTML/CSS, JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with SQL and SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in French and English.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in coordinating software development projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Experience with web services and API design principles.
  • Experience with unit testing and quality assurance best practices.
  • Proficiency in version control with Git, Azure DevOps Server, and other version control systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development methodology and lifecycle processes.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and processes as needed.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a dynamic team.
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism.
