JOB PURPOSE

The Patient Menu Clerk is responsible for processing patient menus.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduation plus additional courses of up to six months OR five (5) years of recent experience (within the last 8 years) as a 1004, shall be considered as equivalent.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Good work record.

Demonstrated proficiency verified by testing in:

• Data Entry 4000 KSPH
• Outlook 50%

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Patient Menu Clerk is responsible for:

• Processing meal tickets/menus, nourishments and special dietary orders
• Verifying that patient menu selections are consistent with dietary profiles
• Responding to requests and queries related to menu selection
• Preparing and distributing patient menus
• Participating in meal satisfaction surveys
• Maintaining statistics and preparing reports
