JOB PURPOSE
The Patient Menu Clerk is responsible for processing patient menus.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduation plus additional courses of up to six months OR five (5) years of recent experience (within the last 8 years) as a 1004, shall be considered as equivalent.
- Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
- Ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Good work record.
Demonstrated proficiency verified by testing in:
- Data Entry 4000 KSPH
- Outlook 50%
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Patient Menu Clerk is responsible for:
- Processing meal tickets/menus, nourishments and special dietary orders
- Verifying that patient menu selections are consistent with dietary profiles
- Responding to requests and queries related to menu selection
- Preparing and distributing patient menus
- Participating in meal satisfaction surveys
- Maintaining statistics and preparing reports
