HSEQ Field Coordinator (Fort. The Brock Group is a leading provider of industrial specialty services to clients around the world, with headquarters in Houston, TX, and operating units in Canada, the United States, and Latin America. With the Canadian head office in Nisku, the company supports routine maintenance, turnarounds, and industrial capital projects by providing services including scaffolding and work access, insulation, fireproofing, and asbestos abatement, for general maintenance, construction, turnarounds, and shutdowns to western Canadian producers.
Brock Canada Industrial Ltd. is hiring for Field Safety Coordinators
A Field Safety Coordinator is defined as someone with a minimum of five (5) years’ direct field experience in their related field and has obtained their NCSO Certification. Their responsibilities shall be to provide safety leadership for site activities to provide safe, reliable, and cost-efficient services to customers. The Field Safety Coordinator supports the health and safety activities of the Company through proactive involvement in the enforcement of safety programs to prevent unsafe conditions on their designated job location. The Field Safety Coordinator shall receive their directives from the Safety Manager/Site Superintendent or Project Manager.
5 years of direct field experience in their related field and NCSO Certification is an asset. 
~ Valid Driver’s license & reliable vehicle
~ Craft knowledge in scaffolding, insulation, fireproofing, and painting (preferred) or equivalent plant operations/maintenance experience.
~ Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Review and provide feedback to Supervisors and crew on hazard assessment and risk assessment documents.
Ensure that all requirements of the Health and Safety Program are being carried out by all project personnel, including management, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and other parties working on or visiting the project site.
Provide support and direction to the field crews in the use of the Health and Safety Manual.
Coordinate and participate in testing of the overall Emergency Plan.
Tracks and maintains site incident trends and statistics.
Ability to oversee the HSE requirements of the project.
Participates in administering company policies.
Promote HSE awareness and responsibility through safety meetings, communications, and training programs.
Establishes and maintains electronic record keeping for all site-specific training activities.
Presents information and helps train current operations and personnel on company related safety procedures.
Implements Job Hazard Analysis and Safety Incentive Programs.
Interacts with field/site management.
Monitors field compliance with company procedures.
The position is based out of Dow facility in Fort Saskatchewan Alberta. This is a contract position
