Love working with plants and flowers? We service several big box retailers by merchandising plants in their indoor and outdoor garden centres.Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of the live goods in the local retail storesResponsible for completing online reports (including pictures) through a free mobile app.Merchandisers are responsible for the visual display and integrity of our products as well as pricing and inventory management.A friendly presence is required for the position as you will be expected to establish positive relationships with garden centre staff and customers.Comfortable working independently as well as part of a teamQualification RequirementsSmart phone required, regular usage (email/phone/photos,etc.)Safety-toed shoes or boots required (steel or composite) for duration of shiftFlexibility with work hours and to adapt to the needs of the business, including the willingness to work on weekendsApplicants must be currently authorized to work in CanadaHours: Part-Time-Full-TimeNormally weekday daytime hoursOccasional evening and weekend work may be requiredWho you are:Someone with garden centre or landscaping experience, summer students, seasonal retail or general labour experience.Have an interest in plants, flowers, trees, horticulture, landscape, arboriculture, retail, floral design, agriculture, environmental studies.Flexible scheduleCasual dressOpportunities for promotionLocation:27 Robinson Lane, Pembroke, Ontario, K8A 0A5Complete Merchandising Solutions Inc. embraces diversity and, as an equal opportunity employer, is committed to creating an inclusive workplace while establishing a diversified qualified workforce.
