(CMS) is a third party merchandising company in the live goods (plants) industry operating across Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes. We service several big box retailers by merchandising plants in their indoor and outdoor garden centres.Job Summary:Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of the live goods in the local retail storesResponsible for completing online reports (including pictures) through a free mobile app.Merchandisers are responsible for the visual display and integrity of our products as well as pricing and inventory management.Specific Skills / Abilities:Physical work - able to lift 50 lbsStanding/Working for long periods of timeWorking outside in the elementsFast-paced environment; Tight deadlines; Repetitive tasksHandling, pulling and lifting heavy loads at times .This is a physically demanding job, and you must be physically capable of performing all duties as assigned.A friendly presence is required for the position as you will be expected to establish positive relationships with garden centre staff and customers.The ability to follow direction and have a keen eye for attention to detail.Comfortable working independently as well as part of a teamQualification RequirementsSmart phone required, regular usage (email/phone/photos,etc.)Safety-toed shoes or boots required (steel or composite) for duration of shiftFlexibility with work hours and to adapt to the needs of the business, including the willingness to work on weekendsApplicants must be currently authorized to work in CanadaHours: Part-Time-Full-TimeNormally weekday daytime hoursOccasional evening and weekend work may be requiredWho you are:Someone with garden centre or landscaping experience, summer students, seasonal retail or general labour experience.Have an interest in plants, flowers, trees, horticulture, landscape, arboriculture, retail, floral design, agriculture, environmental studies.What we offer:Flexible scheduleCasual dressOpportunities for promotionLocation:27 Robinson Lane, Pembroke, Ontario, K8A 0A5Complete Merchandising Solutions Inc. embraces diversity and, as an equal opportunity employer, is committed to creating an inclusive workplace while establishing a diversified qualified workforce.
