The British Columbia Conservation Foundation (BCCF) is looking to fill one to two seasonal positions for Wildlife (Fisher) Telemetry Field Technicians in the Cariboo. Technicians will assist the BC Government’s ‘Recovering Fisher Populations’ Project in carrying out the fieldwork component relating female fisher survival rate and reproductive output to habitat. Under the supervision of WLRS project leads, successful candidates will work in a team and on a flexible schedule to collect field data related to the reproductive output of female fishers, home range and habitat use of female fishers (VHF telemetry), and the ability of the habitat to support prey populations.
