Taylor Ryan has partnered with Ledcor Property Investments on their search for a Development Manager. They are a leading real estate development company and a proud member of the esteemed Ledcor Group.

They are looking for a driven, enthusiastic, resourceful, proactive person who can hit the ground running on day one and continuously drive their vision forward as they embark on an extensive pipeline of projects, showcasing their dedication to innovation and growth in the real estate industry.

In this newly created position, you will report to the VP Development and focus on diverse and complex residential and mixed-use projects in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. You will be responsible for managing projects from the pre-construction to occupancy phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading the execution of multiple projects, including leading internal and external teams in delivering successful projects, taking responsibility for the design approval and delivery, under the guidance of the VP Development.
  • Coordinate and execute all meetings with consultants, contractors, municipal staff, and council meetings as required in a professional manner.
  • Maintain current project proforma models and schedules.
  • Manage project budgets and schedules throughout the life cycle of projects.
  • Oversee and be responsible for consultant organization and communications (RFPs, contracts meeting documentation, deliverables, and contracts.
  • Manage projects through all legal and land title processes and assist with project legal matters (housing agreements, easements, rights of ways, bylaws, strata plans, disclosure statements).
  • Represent Ledcor professionally at industry events and public engagements as the company's public interface with the community.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a development, architecture, real estate business with full cycle development experience. At least some, if not all experience should be within a residential development management position.
  • Understanding proformas, lease agreements and an interest in design is important.
  • Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, Planning, Architecture, or a similar field.
  • Working knowledge of Bluebeam, Excel, and Sketchup is an asset.
