Responsibilities
Manage a team in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings for vertical structures and facilities.
Manage a large group of architectural staff, leading project meetings, and coordinating all other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
Performinternal reviews and quality checks of the models and drawings to ensure compliance with CAD/ BIM standards, transit standards and guidelines, and PSOS.
Research materials, products and technologies required for the design and incorporate into the details, specification and other documents.
Qualifications
- Architectural studies degree or other applicable higher education qualifications.
- 8+ years experience delivering BIM projects using authoring tools such as Revit, C3D, OpenBuildings Designer and CDE platforms such as ProjectWise, BIM360 or ACC
- Experience working with North American design requirements, regulations, and climate.
- Sound knowledge of Transit design principles and method, including design, specifications, construction and contract administration.
- Knowledge of Municipal and provincial planning and zoning requirements and processes.
- Familiarity with both Provincial and National related standards, codes and their application to transit facilities.
- Understanding of Heritage Architecture aspects pertaining to transit projects.
Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $93,700 - 124,200
MB & ON: $85,500 - 117,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $84,700 - 112,400
