General Accountant

We have partnered with one of our esteemed clients and they are looking for a General Accountant to join their growing team. Our client is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and inclusive workplace. Responsibilities- Execute various accounting tasks such as full-cycle accounting, accounts receivable and payable, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations.
- Conduct account reconciliations, including revenue and intercompany accounts.
- Support the Finance department with general accounting processes, month-end close procedures, and audit preparation.
- Provide financial information by researching and analyzing accounting data.
- Prepare detailed financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Document financial transactions by entering account information accurately.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
- Analyze financial information and summarize current financial status through balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
- Assist in managing cash flow by tracking transactions and reviewing internal reports, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review financial data for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by the Finance department.
- Support audit and regulatory requirements.
- Handle tax compliance for managed brands.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation or working towards it
- Experience in global operations is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software (i.e SAGE or Agresso) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of current accounting standards and regulations.
