Job Description Our client is looking for Business Analyst - Record to Report (RTR) for a 1 year contract .
This opportunity will appeal to an individual who enjoys working as an individual and in a team environment, and who demonstrates effective critical thinking, problem-solving and facilitation skills, is adaptable and able effectively complete deliverables in a timely fashion. This Business Analyst will also utilize standard best practices as required to support the activity execution, and has a key understanding of transition to operations, and development of processes and procedures.
- Eliciting business requirements, facilitating workshops, developing process descriptions and procedural documentation, building workflows, documenting standards and policies.
- have experience and strength in managing complex business scenarios and dynamic stakeholder groups and ensuring effective synchronizations between competing corporate initiatives.

Work model: Hybrid (4:1) POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar capacity.
- Direct working experience or project experience in business areas or functions.
- Organization and relationship building skills.
- Highly effective communicator.
- Displays emotional intelligence; demonstrates self-awareness and remains calm under pressure.
- Working knowledge of accounting and finance processes. ERP experience specifically in SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA is an asset.
- Experience with systems and data integration including underlying data and business process flows. Experience with middleware technologies is an asset.
- Experience with data analysis and ability to assess impacts to data due to changing processes.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in facilitating working sessions and documenting results for the mapping of source fields to target fields between ERP and Connected Applications.
- Perform initial Data QA / completeness checks on finalized functional design specifications.
- Steward completed documents through the approval/sign-off process, including providing background and facilitating clarifying discussions (as required) for reviewers and approvers.
- Clarify questions on the functional design specifications for developers.
- Participate in data standards and process creation, reviews, updates, development and documentation.
- Be the liaison between the project teams, technology teams and sustainment teams.
- Manage and execute on required stakeholder and client engagement across project deliverables to support project plan and scope outline.
- Collaborate with project team members to progress the project forward as per project plan and scope outline.
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true need.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements to deliver the following artifacts as needed: functional requirements (business requirements document), use cases, workflow diagrams, and context diagrams.
