This role involves collaborating with Directors across IT domains such as Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Architecture, and Program Management to evolve IT infrastructure from traditional systems to a cloud/managed services model.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies for transitioning from 60% hardware/40% cloud to 30% hardware/70% cloud/managed services.Team Management: Lead and mentor teams across various IT functions, including Application Support, DBA, System Operations, DevOps, and Network Operations.Operational Excellence: Ensure 24/7 IT operations continuity, implementing innovative solutions for platform stability and performance.Change Management: Drive successful people change management initiatives to support IT transformation.Collaboration: Align IT operations with broader business goals and ensure seamless integration across departments.Preferred Background:Industry Experience: Expertise in financial services, particularly with mid-sized banks, credit unions, or insurance companies.IT Operations: Strong background in 24/7 IT environments, platform engineering strategies, and operational excellence.Change Management: Proven experience leading organizational change within IT landscapes.
