About the Role

Teranet is currently looking for a Senior Java Application Developer to design, develop, and implement software applications and enhance existing Java based components. Looking for a strong developer that understands the fundamentals of JAVA and back-end technologies with some front-end. You will join a team that develops shared services and billing systems at Teranet. The team embraces Agile development, DevOps, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud infrastructure, and continuous delivery / deployment models.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • new applications and web services
  • enhancements to existing applications / back-end development
  • production issues, assist with integration support, and participate with releases

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of Java development experience
  • Experience with Java 11 plus, JavaScript, J2EE, JPA, JSP
  • Experience with Web Services (REST & SOAP)
  • In depth knowledge of core Java
  • Experience with Spring Framework / Spring boot 3
  • Experience with Microservice Architecture and Scalable application
  • Azure APIM
  • OCP/Kubernetes
  • Able to create Design/Architecture documents
  • Well versed with Design patterns
  • Able to do troubleshooting independently
  • Well versed with Oracle and Postgres DB
  • Working knowledge of AMQ, Elastic Search
  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows OS
  • Worked in Agile development environment
