Engineer - Municipal Infrastructure - hybrid

Job Description Mission
We're looking for an engineer to join our multidisciplinary Infrastructure team and work on municipal engineering projects of various sizes in the Greater Montreal area. You will have the opportunity to choose to work on institutional (schools and healthcare facilities) or municipal infrastructure projects for both public and private sector clients. We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to alternate between working from home and at our offices in Longueuil, Montreal or Laval (one day or more per week, depending on your preference). Primary Responsibilities

  1. Design stormwater management structures, sewer systems, waterworks and roadways, and plan excavation and grading work
  2. Coordinate the technical aspects of projects with design technicians, other disciplines involved, the customer and third parties
  3. Prepare technical specifications, tender documents, construction cost estimates, as well as various studies (specific techniques, feasibility and preliminary design)
  4. Plan work phases and schedules
  5. Assist the project manager with management tasks
  6. Carry out occasional site visits and provide follow-up (technical assistance) from the office
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
  2. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the field
  3. Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  4. Good command of written and spoken French
  5. ASP Construction card or in the process of obtaining one
  6. Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
