What you’ll get to do
  • Inspect shipments upon receipt to verify correct quantity, size, part number, and quality.
  • Store and distribute material to correct areas in receiving, job site, quarantine, or designated storage area according to the purchase order.
  • Ensure that packing slips and invoices are promptly entered into ERP system — daily filing of purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Arrange pick up and delivery of materials with appropriate logistics carriers and courier companies.
  • Ensure the safe and complete preparation and delivery of shipments to customer or other facilities.
  • Verify that all outgoing items from the facility, such as equipment, tools, and materials, possess the necessary shipping documentation and are appropriately labeled, packaged, and identified.
  • Operate forklift and crane safely to facilitate the movement of materials within the plant and loading/unloading of trucks.
