Alliant Energy issearching for a Director Security and Compliance to establish andmaintain the vision for information technology (IT), operationstechnology (OT), physical security and technology-related complianceprograms. This position is responsible for proactive leadership inensuring IT, OT and physical security measures are operated inaccordance with security standards. What you will do * Performs allleadership duties including, but not limited to, hiring and rewardingtalent, fostering an inclusive and safe workplace, partnering withemployees to set clear goals and expectations, providing timely andspecific feedback on performance, developing improvement plans toaddress performance gaps, addressing conflict with care and respect,identifying opportunities for growth and development, embracing andmodeling a mindset of lifelong learning, ensuring employees report towork fit for duty, adhering to our Code of Conduct and modeling AlliantEnergy\'s Core Values at all times. * Responsible for strategic andlong-range planning for all IT, OT, physical security andtechnology-related compliance programs to ensure the integrity,confidentiality, and availability of information owned, controlled, orprocessed by Alliant Energy. * Directs the planning, development,enhancement, and maintenance of the IT, OT, physical security andtechnology-related compliance strategic plan from both a business andtechnology perspective. * Engages with business representatives todesign, implement and facilitate a globally standardized governancestructure to IT, OT, physical security, and compliance. * Reports outto senior leadership (Alliant Energy Officers and Board of Directors) onthe maturity of the security program utilizing established frameworkssuch as the CIS Critical Security Controls. * Directs a teamresponsible for anticipating and proactively identifying, assessing,protecting, detecting, responding and recovering business issues,vulnerabilities, risks, and exposures that may impact businessoperations. * Influences internal and external constituents, and relaysbest practice recommendations based on the evolving threat landscape toprotect intellectual property and ensure compliance. * Defines keyperformance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with businessinitiatives and delivers them to non-technical individuals in aneffective, understandable manner. * Engages with business units forstringent vetting and continual assessment of the supply chain (thirdparty risk management). * Directs the technology-related risk andcompliance program. Identifies requirements and oversees the strategy toimplement solutions to maintain compliance programs (e.g., NERC CIP, TSA(natural gas), etc.) maximize efficiency, address audit requirements,and prevent or mitigate the impacts of cyber-attacks on our IT and OTinfrastructure.
