Career Opportunity – Carrier Enterprise CanadaPosition: Counter/ShipperReporting to: Sales Center ManagerLocation: Edmonton North, ABCE is a subsidiary of the largest independent HVAC/R distribution company in the world, Watsco, Inc. CE proudly distributes the Carrier, Bryant and Payne brands of HVAC equipment for the use in Commercial and Residential markets, as well as a full-line of aftermarket parts, supplies, and accessories. CE has 36 locations across Canada. We are currently accepting internal and external applications for a Counter/Shipper in our Edmonton North Sales Centre.The OpportunityEnsure that equipment is stored and protected from damage and readily available for shipmentHandle all shipping and receiving duties, including physical distribution to customers, storage of products within the warehouse and receiving incoming materials and equipmentPrepare documentation of both incoming and outgoing equipment and partsMaintain the warehouse facility in a safe and clean mannerProvide sales assistance as required and backup sales coverage during absence of team membersProvide top quality service to our customersHandle customer calls and inquiriesMaintenance of the showroom, including stocking shelves, merchandise and inventory maintenanceWhat You Offer1-3 years’ of working experience preferably in the HVACR industry and warehouse logisticsPrevious experience in technical/sales rolesAble to operate the forklift operatorExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsPositive attitude and customer service orientedComputer literateStrong organization skills and the ability to work in a fast paced and changing environmentProficiency in e-commerce solutions and environmentPreference will be given to those who have previous HVACR wholesale experience and/or who have graduated from a HVAC/R technical programWhat’s in it for you?When you join Carrier Enterprise Canada, you will be part of a dynamic work environment that delivers first-class service to provide comfort to every home & business through our top of the line HVAC/R productsYou’ll join a team built on trust and integrity – where we succeed and celebrate together.We value engagement, empowerment and accountability and our team members flourish because of it.We care about your future with us.
