Installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial mechanical equipment and associated presses, ovens, pumps, molds, dies, and conveyors with electronic controls. Some familiarity with PLCs, mainly Siemens and Allen Bradley troubleshooting.
# Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
# Disassembles and repairs defective mechanical equipment or systems.
# Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical or electromechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on hydraulic, pneumatic, motorized, and mechanical production tools, machines, and lines.
# Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
# Familiar with the utilization of Predictive Maintenance and Condition-Based monitoring tools.
# Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
# Utilizes Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS). Supports the Maintenance Planners by contributing to the optimization of the Maintenance Plans and Equipment information in the CMMS.
# Licensed 433A Industrial Millwright
At least 2 years mechanical maintenance technical experience in a manufacturing environment – ideally in the automotive, plastics, metal processing, or high-volume fabrication.
