As a Senior Actuarial Consultant, you’ll lead defined benefit pension plans with excellence, ensuring sustainability and strategic growth. At TELUS Health, our consulting practice offers over 60 years of specialized experience in actuarial and financial well-being consulting. We’re searching for a Senior Actuarial Consultant to provide strategic guidance and risk management in designing pension plans. Your significant role will not only involve client management but also mentoring junior staff and promoting TELUS Health's capabilities on a broader stage. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships and service expectations effectively
- Offer actuarial consulting on pension strategy and risk management
- Provide mentorship and project oversight for junior team members
- Promote TELUS Health at industry events and conferences
- Drive business development initiatives and client growth
- 10+ years in defined benefit pension plan consulting
- Knowledge of actuarial standards and pension legislation
- Proven relationship-building and influence at client organizations
- Strong project management capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field
