Reporting to the Director of Nutrition and Food Services, the Manager oversees all operations within the Sydney area. You'll apply your expertise in food and human nutrition, implement nutrition care standards, and champion quality outcomes for patients, residents, and clients. The role offers the opportunity to lead initiatives aligned with provincial health standards and foster collaborative efforts across the healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize daily Nutrition and Food Services operations
- Implement nutrition care standards with clinical oversight
- Monitor performance indicators and benchmarks to ensure compliance
- Collaborate on provincial initiatives like the Healthy Eating Policy
- Maintain quality and safety standards for excellent patient outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
- Five years management experience in healthcare as a dietitian
- Current licensure with Nova Scotia College of Dietitians
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- Experience managing in a unionized environment
