This full-time cooking role under the UC Food Services will have you employing your cooking skills to prepare delicious meals every shift. Ideal candidates possess three years of cooking experience and understand food safety standards. You'll work closely with Cafeteria Workers, guiding them in food preparation and ensuring all tasks meet operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare meals based on established recipes and menus
• Cook meat, vegetables, and pastries accurately
• Determine food presentation and ensure proper garnishing
• Clean and sanitize cooking areas and tools
• Assist in managing inventory for kitchen supplies
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent qualifications
• At least three years of related culinary experience
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to lead a team effectively
