RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Coordinate all work orders entries, reduce/eliminate the entry error.
  2. Prepare 536A, code creation forms from the order entries.
  3. File all work orders documentation/communication, including quotes, BOMs, project specification, signed approved drawing, testing checking list - all digital and hard copies.
  4. Update backlog, and distribute weekly.
  5. Prepare work orders status report, Work Order Log Updated, serial numbers log.
  6. Update Price Lists and distribute with salespeople per change request or price update.
  7. Coordinate between EQD and Service. Send weekly request for all heads set up, spare heads and heads for system.
  8. Establish and maintain a process to improve communication between EQD and Customer Service, to decrease time/cost spent on projects that can be directed to customer service.
  9. Discuss and contact the sales representatives to clarify the scope of requested work.
  10. Communicate all the work orders entry's changes/revisions with the team.
  11. Prepare all proper packing lists for shipments.
  12. Communicate the shipments with Credit Department and ensure credit release before shipment.
  13. Improve time management, document daily tasks so the time can be effectively divided to manage all duties.
  14. Create SOs and SPs for each Work orders and revisions.
  15. Issue invoices, coordinate with credit department for invoices sending and payment status.
  16. Request manuals for engineering, provide manuals for production and ensure all document provided before packing.
  17. Document heads serial numbers and machine serial number.
  18. Coordinate all work orders entries, reduce/eliminate the entry errors.
  19. Generate reports as needed, including job cost breakdown, weekly sales order performance, and parts flow through the system.
  20. Attend production meeting, provide work order status reports for all attending to meeting, host Teams meetings, create meeting minutes.
  21. Issue work order sign offs, schedule for sign off meetings.
  22. Attend and provide support for all the 536A orders reviews.
  23. Enforce 24/7 training to all employees at EQD, ensuring to have at least a H&S walk every month.
  24. Prepare safety talk for shop employees, communicate them after Safety talk test and discuss their errors.
  25. Establish Safety Walk forms, Hazard recognition forms, SSOP.
  26. Safety Audit with safety committee and mangers.
  27. Accompany Safety Committee to complete Safety Walk, SSOP, Hazard recognition forms.
  28. Report accident and incident to Safety team.
  29. Assist Safety Committee with any additional request and help required.
  30. Health and Safety minutes of the meetings CAID Transition support.
  31. Communicate with CAID for their requisitions, provide their needs in a proper time.
  32. Provide CAID with all the information's for the work orders being built in Hermosillo, MX.
  33. Ensure the credit status before shipment for CAID orders, updating them with new status.
  34. Prepare packing lists for all CAID material shipment request Purchasing.
  35. Process BOMs for WO to placing orders and refill stock.
  36. Process BOM for stock orders.
  37. Purchase items for Work orders, confirm arrival time with supplier.
  38. Purchase stock orders and communicate with supplier.
  39. Follow up with supplier for back orders on a weekly basis to ensure orders will come in proper time and not interfere with production schedule.
  40. Assist purchasing to issue PO's when required.
  41. Continuously update standard costs per supplier's Quote.
  42. Continuously improve purchasing process, to reduce delays on goods.
  43. Prepare RFQ for different suppliers to get better price.
  44. Place stock transfer from 2420, for work order spare parts.
  45. Create Packing Lists for all the shipments of the spare parts.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

College/University diploma with 2-3 years of relevant experience

Ability to read mechanical drawings and relate content of drawings to competency of outside suppliers.

Experience using an MRP or ERP (knowledge of JD Edwards is an asset)

Ability to use the CAD software AutoCAD and SolidWorks

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

Data Analysis

Strong attention to detail; high level of accuracy

Good communications skills
