This position involves working closely with clients and team members to understand project requirements, conceptualize design ideas, and produce high-quality digital and print materials that reflect our commitment to sustainability. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, proficiency in design software (primarily InDesign and Illustrator), and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.Responsibilities include ensuring that all designs align with the brand's visual identity, are user-friendly, and meet industry standards for accessibility and usability. Additionally, the Production Designer will support the full suite of our agency services, with a primary focus on web and report design. In addition to competitive benefits, full-time, permanent employees enjoy flexible scheduling, paid sick time, parental leave top-up, paid volunteer time, and socializing opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Lead Designers and team members to understand project requirements and objectives.Conceptualize and create visually appealing designs for sustainability reports that align with industry standards.Produce high-quality digital and print materials, ensuring consistency with the brand’s visual identity.Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project timelines.Ensure all designs are user-friendly and meet industry standards for accessibility and usability.Support the full suite of agency services, with a primary focus on web and report design.Stay up-to-date with design trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the quality of deliverables.Qualifications & RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should possess:Experience: A related degree or diploma and a minimum of 4 years work experience in digital, graphic, book layout and UX/UI design. Experience working in an advertising or marketing agency is preferred.Attention to Details: High attention to detail and ability to self-manage and juggle priorities while working autonomously in remote situations is an absolute mustSelf-Starter and Team Player: Able to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary experts from conceptual strategy through to the execution of creative solutionProblem Solving and Learning: Passionate about solving problems and an insatiable appetite for learningEmbrace Feedback: Take direction from team members and clientsCommunication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Technical Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Suite (InDesign and Illustrator) and WordPress. Experience or knowledge in Squarespace, Shopify, Sketch, CSS and/or HTML is a bonus. Our workflows are in Google Drive, Google Suite, Harvest, Gmail, Slack and Asana.
