Your new companyA well-established boutique law firm specializing in Estate and Elder Law is seeking an experienced Estate Administration Law Clerk/Assistant to join their team. Located in Downtown Toronto, this firm is committed to excellence, compassionate client service, and innovative legal solutions.Your new roleAs an Estate Administration Law Clerk at this reputable firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting this firm's busy practice. Working closely with 2 Lawyers, you will be responsible for preparing legal documents, including drafting letters, emails, wills, powers of attorney, and trusts. You will also handle probate applications, review fiduciary accounts, assist with will signings, manage administrative tasks, and maintain organized files. Additionally, you will support lawyers in scheduling meetings, performing conflict searches, and ensuring a positive client experience during in-person interactions.What you'll need to succeedMinimum of 5 years of law clerk experience in Wills and EstatesThorough understanding of the rules, procedures and conventions associated with estates administration workProficiency in legal administrative tasks, including document preparation, proofreading, and schedulingProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, NitroPro, CaseLines, PCLaw, and ability to adapt to new technologyStrong attention to detail and compliance with legal proceduresExcellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to work compassionately in sensitive and emotionally-charged situationsWhat you'll get in returnCompetitive salaryA competitive compensation package ranging from $65,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience.Flexible remote working daysVacation and benefitsProfessional growthThis firm values professional development.
