We are hiring a Talented Tilesetter for a permanent full-time role in North York, Ontario, offering $36.00 hourly. Your skills in both commercial and residential tiling are crucial for this position. Candidates with 1-2 years of tiling experience are encouraged to apply. In this role, you will be involved in preparing surfaces, applying mortar, and ensuring that tiles are laid with precision. Attention to detail will be your best asset as you create beautiful, functional tile designs. Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and lay tiles accurately
- Mix mortar and apply adhesives appropriately
- Prepare sketches and quotations for projects
- Replace damaged tiles as necessary
- Create unique designs with mosaic tiles
- Completion of high school diploma mandatory
- 1-2 years of hands-on tiling experience
- Strong physical stamina for demanding work
- Reliable color distinction and coordination skills
- Must provide own safety equipment
