Brandt is currently seeking a Service Technician for our Hearst location. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of construction and forestry-based equipment and attachments in a shop environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate the working condition of heavy-duty equipment
  2. Diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts, and repair equipment
  3. Use tools, equipment, and computer systems efficiently
  4. Document all machine information and actions taken
  5. Ensure work is performed safely and to accepted standards
  6. Utilize computer applications and information systems for maintenance and diagnosis
  7. Locate and order parts as necessary
  8. Road test equipment and check attachment operation
Required Skills

Must have:

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Computer and technical aptitude for diagnostics
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Commitment to high-quality customer service
Required Experience

Must have:

  • Certified Journeyperson in Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent
  • Previous mechanical experience in heavy equipment
  • Experience with electrical diagnosis/troubleshooting and aftertreatment systems
