Senior Project Architect

JOB REQUIREMENTS: As a Senior Project Architect you will work closelywith Strang\'s integrated team of design professionals to deliverarchitectural services for a variety of exciting project types. Workingunder the direction of a Project Manager and Principal-In-Charge, youwill be responsible for leading teams in the design and execution ofassigned projects from conception to completion. Your expertise andvision will be instrumental in developing and implementing projectplans, ensuring that all deadlines are met, and that design goals areachieved. Duties and Responsibilities include: The Project Architectcollaborates with the Project Manager and Principal in Charge andoversees the completion of assignments in a timely manner maintainingaccuracy while adhering to all technical and standard procedures of theoffice. Interprets bid documents during the bidding phase. Pre-Designgraphics and renderings. Programming and Schematic Design Develop andimplement project plans, ensuring that all deadlines are met Regularlycommunicate project progress and status to all stakeholders. Coordinateand check documents during design development, contract documents andbidding phases and compiles addendum information. Preparing fullconstruction documents in collaboration with our other disciplines andassisting with coordination of work Mentor junior architectural staffand provide guidance on design and technical issues What you can bringto the team: Professional attitude, ownership and passion for your work.A level of knowledge and desire for lifelong learning. Self-motivation, time managementand organizational abilities ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: Professional Degree in Architecture, or related fieldProfessional Registration (AIA, NCARB) preferred 8+ years of experiencein the architectural industry, preferably in the design of science andtechnology, corporate office and higher education Experience leadingother architects and project teams Effectiveness in working in amulti-disciplinary team setting, collaborating, and mentoring A thoroughknowledge of building codes and regulatory standards Proficiency withthe following design and production software is required: Revit,Bluebeam, and other project management software Fluency with MicrosoftOffice Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:Apply Online:
