Job Title: Senior Liaison Engineer - Aerospace

Location: Dorval

Type: Full time, Hybrid

Join our clients team as a Senior Liaison Engineer In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in resolving fit, form, or functional engineering issues pertaining to aircraft components and repairs during the manufacturing process of aerospace products. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying technical engineering solutions for any reported aircraft structure or system problems, swiftly documenting necessary actions, and ensuring efficient implementation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Resolve fit, form, or functional engineering issues on aircraft components and during the manufacturing of aerospace products.
  • Identify and implement technical engineering solutions for aircraft structure and system problems, ensuring timely documentation.
  • Determine repair and/or salvage dispositions in accordance with engineering specifications and design integrity, including signing off on dispositions on behalf of the Engineering department.
  • Collaborate closely with various engineering specialists, such as Design, Stress, Materials Technology, Aerodynamics, and Performance, to address reported problems and find effective solutions.
  • Support Production, Design Engineering, Procurement, and Quality teams in coordinating issue resolutions and providing corrective actions involving engineering.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, providing updates on manufacturing changes and issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of MRB experience or ten (10) years of design experience in Aerospace.
  • Excellent knowledge of aircraft structure and system installation technical requirements.
  • Experience in Electrical & Systems (considered an asset).
  • Flexible and adept at working under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Sound technical judgment and a practical approach.
  • Proficiency in browsing Engineering mockups in CATIA V5.
