Lead innovation in data engineering at Arc'teryx as the Manager of Data Engineering. You'll work hybrid, developing solutions and mentoring a strong team dedicated to data infrastructure excellence. This role places emphasis on guiding a talented data engineering team while ensuring the effective delivery of data solutions. You will actively manage the Databricks environment, oversee pipeline development, and provide strategic direction. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, your leadership will drive improvements in data quality and analytics accessibility. Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and develop engineering talent within the team
- Guide technical strategy for the data platform
- Implement data engineering standards and governance
- Collaborate with stakeholders on data project priorities
- Build ingestion frameworks for new data sources
- Must have 8+ years of data engineering experience
- 4+ years of team leadership capability
- Proven expertise in managing Databricks and QA frameworks
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Love for the outdoor ethos of Arc'teryx
