Quality Assurance Coordinator - 9 month contract

9 month contract
Reporting to the QA Supervisor, the QA coordinator will perform quality audits and in-process checks on the co-pack production line.
Perform regular quality checks on the production floor to ensure production meets client's standards for accuracy.
Record and report on the outcomes of the quality audits to the QA Supervisor.
Work closely with all departments to ensure staff are working in compliance with client expectations and GMP’s.
Assist with the preparation of external quality audits (i.e.: Assist in creating and maintaining an environment that promotes positive communication within the facility as well as fostering teamwork within the operation.
QA Certification, degree in food science, pharmaceutical or related discipline from a recognized College.
Some experience with quality standards and GMP in a production environment is an asset.
