JYSK is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our Human Resources Team, based in our beautiful home office in Coquitlam, BC. As a Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for effectively and accurately processing semi-monthly payroll in a high-volume payroll department. You will report and take direction from the Payroll and Benefits Manager and ensure a timely and accurate delivery of payroll and all other related services.

This temporary role is for a 2-year contract.

Process semi-monthly payroll for both hourly and salaried colleagues.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of all payroll-related transactions.
Maintain the accuracy of the payroll data on the HRIS.
Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations online.
Perform other payroll and benefits related duties as assigned.

Discounts with local and national retailers (cell phones, gym memberships, entertainment tickets, hotels, etc.) Knowledge of Canadian (Federal and Provincial) payroll legislation.
Advanced hands-on experience with MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Minimum 2 years experience with Canadian payroll – for 200+ colleagues – is required.
Working experience with ADP WorkforceNow is preferred.
PCP certified or enrolled in the National Payroll Institute (NPI) certification program.
Post-secondary education in Business or Accounting is preferred.
