Programmed Insurance Brokers Inc. (PIB) a Navacord Broker Partner based in Elmira, ON is searching for a bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Group Benefits Customer Service Representative, your objective will be to provide support for our advisors and group clients. You will be responsible for direct client support, advocating on behalf of the client with carriers and supporting the advisor to ensure that we are delivering a superior client experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide ongoing support to Plan Administrators and Advisors by being the lead contact for service and administrative inquiries
  • Prepare and facilitate market studies for new prospects and existing clients
  • Analyze proposals from carriers for new prospects and marketing
  • Coordinate new plan implementations, plan amendments and carrier changes
  • Communicate with carrier partners regarding client issues to have them resolved in an efficient manner
  • Prepare client facing documents and communications
  • Provide our clients with a superior level of service
  • Aid in the translation and creation of French materials

REQUIREMENTS:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience in the group insurance industry specifically in employee benefits, preferably 3+ years
  • Strong time-management, communication, decision making, client relations, and organizational skills
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a service-oriented team member who can positively and productively impact strategic administration initiatives
  • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface with clients, carrier partners, and the PIB Team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with client management system (EPIC).
  • Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation an asset
  • Fluent in French
