Responsibilities
The GRC Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. GRC Tool Development and Implementation
a) Develop requirements for the GRC tool.
b) Support the selection process of the GRC tool based on identified cybersecurity requirements.
c) Lead the implementation of the chosen GRC tool within our organization.

2. Cybersecurity Compliance Process Development
a) Build out compliance processes tailored to the capabilities of the new GRC tool.
b) Assist departments in achieving initial compliance, guiding them through the
developed compliance processes.

3. Cybersecurity Control Framework Development
a) Continue the development and enhancement of the security control framework, focusing on the Center for Internet Security (CIS) Controls and Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) guidelines.
b) Finalize all process documentation related to the control framework.
c) Working with an internal communication team develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan to assist new/existing control owners.

4. Cybersecurity Risk Management Process Overhaul
a) Review and update the organization's risk management processes to align with current objectives and the capabilities of the new GRC tool. Including risk monitoring processes.
b) Transition the existing risk register to the new GRC tool, ensuring a seamless migration.
c) Review and update the threat and cyber risk assessment protocols.
d) Develop and implement processes for conducting risk assessments during project executions and change management phases.
e) Establish and execute a communication plan to guide new/existing risk owners.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or compliance roles.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing GRC tools, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices, including CIS Controls and Cloud Security Alliance guidelines.
  • Proven track record of driving cybersecurity initiatives, refining control frameworks, and facilitating organizational alignment.
