Full Time,37 hrs, Monday – Friday 8am-4 pm. Overtime there for those who want it
Enerveo have an extensive street lighting business that manages over 1 million street lights across the UK and Ireland and through design, project management, consultancy, installation, and maintenance we play a major role in reducing energy consumption and carbon footprints helping towns and cities become smarter, greener and more efficient which benefits us all.
Could you be our next  Highways Electrician to join the team and drive this success forwards?
You will be joining a well-established team currently working on a LED replacement project throughout Cornwall as well as maintaining and installing streetlighting columns, traffic signals, CCTV and other highway electrical equipment.
Installation and Maintenance : Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of street lighting infrastructure across Cornwall. This includes lighting lanterns, cables, control panels, and associated electrical components.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure the uninterrupted operation of street lighting infrastructure.
Testing and Inspection : Conduct testing and inspection of street lighting equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and performance standards.
Maintain accurate records of work activities, including maintenance schedules, inspection reports, and inventory management on a tablet device.
Health and Safety : Adhere to strict health and safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure the safety of yourself and others while working on-site.
Coordinate with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders to prioritize tasks, share information, and deliver high-quality services.
You will have an electrical background and will have ideally completed an NVQ Level 3 and AM2, and hold a City and Guilds 2391 qualification or equivalents
So you need to be the type of person who is happy working outdoors all year round.
We would look for you to hold IPAF working at heights training
Completion of a G39 Electrical Safety in the planning, installation, commissioning and maintenance of public lighting and other street furniture training Course
An HGV Class 2 Licence
We can however support the right candidate to achieve any level of industry training/qualifications they may not have in the ‘nice to have’ list
