Hourly, Full-time, Permanent Starting at $38.00 per hour Hours: 7:00 am – 3:45 pm, 8 hours, Monday - Friday
An open corporate culture and trust-based working hours for self-determined time management
Operate within a multi-skilled environment to maintain the plant’s machinery and equipment, while improving processes.
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including PLC and motor controls, safety sensors and relays.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, drives, bearings and gears.
Repairing and replacing parts as required by the company’s preventative maintenance program
Carrying out electrical maintenance procedures.
Tuning equipment and ensuring that adequate controls and safety measures are functional
Work in a safe professional manner at all times, adhering to company policies, Provincial and Federal requirements
442A Industrial Electrician or interprovincial license
~ Strong experience with PLC Programming and motor controls troubleshooting
~ Strong problem-solving skills related to troubleshooting equipment issues, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment
~ Experience with robots and automation
~ Mechanical aptitude/ interest
~ 2 – 3 years of experience in plastic industries (injection molding, thermoforming, packaging)
~ Excellent communication skills, ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
