Hays Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading civil subcontractor specializing in excavation and earthworks across commercial and residential building projects. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, our client is seeking a motivated and capable Project Manager to join their team. About the Role As Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of multiple excavation and earthworks projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with site teams, builders, and engineers to coordinate resources, manage timelines, and uphold safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage civil projects from planning through to completion Liaise with clients, general contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery Monitor budgets, schedules, and quality benchmarks Ensure all works comply with safety and environmental regulations Resolve site issues and keep stakeholders informed What You’ll Need to Succeed 2–5 years of project management experience in civil construction, ideally in excavation and earthworks Strong understanding of commercial and residential building processes Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency in project management tools and software What’s on Offer Competitive salary package Supportive team culture and leadership Career development opportunities Exposure to high-profile projects across the region If you're ready to take the next step in your civil construction career, we’d love to hear from you.
